Saima Systems participated in two key events this February: Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026 in Barcelona, the world's leading trade show for professional audiovisual and systems integration, and SICUR 2026 in Madrid, Spain's leading comprehensive security exhibition. Saima Systems is strengthening its position as a leading technology manufacturer in Spain and Europe in secure networks and its commitment to continued growth alongside partners, integrators, and end customers.

Gerard Mancebo, CEO of the company, states that “it is essential for us to showcase our proprietary technology and demonstrate, in demanding environments such as ISE and SICUR, the robustness and reliability of our connectivity and cybersecurity solutions. In Spain, we are the only company offering this level of development in connectivity and security solutions. Participating in these trade shows highlights our high competitiveness.

With more than 20 years of experience, Saima Systems specializes in advanced connectivity and cybersecurity solutions based on proprietary technology, with SAIWALL Secure SD-WAN as the centerpiece.

Saima Systems at ISE 2026 alongside ASUS

Being at ISE as an ASUS partner has been a turning point for Saima Systems”, says Ignacio Marco, commercial director and co-founder of the company. "We have been working with ASUS for more than 15 years, in a relationship that goes far beyond being mere technology partners. This alliance allows us to anticipate where the networking segment is heading and participate in national and international projects where connectivity is key." At ISE, the company demonstrated how its network technology turns digital signage and connected retail into secure and manageable services.

At ISE 2026, Saima Systems and ASUS jointly presented a new SAIWALL device for retail environments with high capacity for video and audio streaming. “Our technology enables seamless multi-site screen broadcasting; an efficient, secure, and plug-and-play solution designed to deploy digital signage networks and distributed audiovisual content with total assurance.” SAIWALL technology provides the secure and resilient connectivity layer that enables retailers, AV integrators, and service providers to operate with visibility, control, and scalability.

In digital signage environments, SAIWALL connects players, screens, content servers, and analytics systems using encrypted tunnels and centralized security policies. This reduces the risk of unauthorized access or attacks that could affect the in-store experience. It also offers real-time monitoring and the ability to quickly isolate a suspicious node without stopping the rest of the network, which is key in projects with hundreds of distributed screens.

A central idea is “shared management”: the customer decides which part of the network to manage internally and which to delegate to their operator or integrator. This flexibility allows ASUS service providers and partners to build customized connectivity and digital signage offerings, while maintaining complete visibility into performance and security.

Saima Systems at SICUR 2026

Nowadays, physical security cannot be conceived without intangible security, that is, network security and everything that is managed through it”, recalls Gerard Mancebo. "We offer technology that combines two key aspects. On the one hand, it provides maximum security and robustness against cyberattacks and incidents. And, on the other hand, it is managed in a simple and attractive way for the user." With this premise, Saima Systems participated in SICUR 2026, the International Security Exhibition held at IFEMA Madrid.

For Ignacio Marco, the message to convey at Sicur was clear and forceful: “Maximum security: new generation firewalls, Internet access and permission management, and, above all, cybersecurity. We establish services and resources that guarantee the non-intrusion of malware or ransomware.

Marco argues that SAIWALL Secure SD WAN should be part of any organization's security structure: "Many companies believe that perimeter protection is sufficient, but the foundation is a secure communications network on which to apply additional layers of cybersecurity. SAIWALL links the ‘physical’ part of the network with advanced security services, such as intrusion prevention systems (IPS), intrusion detection systems (IDS), and security operations centers (SOC) that monitor the network 24/7."

Partners: a strategy based on alliances

Another objective that has motivated Saima Systems' presence at SICUR is to advance in the creation of new alliances and partnerships. “This is the key strategy we have been developing for several years”, explains Gerard Mancebo. “As technology manufacturers, we can offer consulting firms and technical areas the possibility of growing together.

The CEO of Saima Systems also reveals one of the projects the company is working on: "Our challenge is to integrate AI to facilitate communication within the partner channel. AI integrated into our operations will streamline interaction between partners, end customers, processes, data analysis, and our strategic management. We have an exceptional product that is robust, reliable, and easy to implement, and deepening the relationship we offer our partners will give us a significant competitive advantage."

Shall we play? Gamification to talk about safety

Saima Systems stood out at SICUR with its original proposal: a gamified experience based on the classic Space Invaders under the slogan “Don't let them invade your network!”. Visitors played on an arcade machine while an application recorded their data. It was a very attractive and memorable way to participate in a trade show and address a topic as complex as security.

Saima Systems' Marketing Director, Llorenç Lapaz, explains that “we were looking for a metaphor to express the concept of security, which is very broad and difficult to convey, in a simple way. We realized that the game Space Invaders could help us in this task, so we took advantage of its graphic metaphor, with the same icons, and transferred it to connectivity, recreating scenarios of attacks on the network.

At the stand, visitors could play a game of Space Invaders on an arcade machine and update a ranking visible on a digital totem. After the game, the Saima Systems team explained to visitors how the “invaders” in the game are equivalent to real threats that put a corporate network at risk, and the role of SAIWALL Secure SD-WAN in protecting it.

The experience was a huge success!
