Saima Systems’ participation in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) and the ASLAN Congress last March served to demonstrate how connectivity and cybersecurity technology developed here can compete at the highest level. It also showed how such technology can integrate with existing ecosystems while giving users greater control over the infrastructure, thereby defining a new model for software development.

Digital sovereignty has evolved from an abstract concept into a key criterion when selecting technology”, explains Ignacio Marco, Commercial Director at Saima Systems. “End customers increasingly value having a resilient management system that provides full governance over the environment without relying on access from international companies to control the orchestrator—something our proprietary technology delivers.

In this context, Saima Systems is moving steadily toward a differentiation model valued by the local market: a 100% Spanish manufacturer of connectivity and cybersecurity software, with a solution designed for the Spanish and European business landscape. “We provide a highly efficient, locally developed product. This offers significant security in both implementation and operational management and maintenance.

On this basis, digital sovereignty ceases to be a slogan and becomes a tangible reality in the day-to-day operations of organizations working with Saima Systems. “At the operational level, we have over 400 clients through partners seeking this capacity for digital resilience and governance: we empower them to manage the solution independently. That’s what other players don’t offer. The SAIWALL model is gaining traction and growing larger every day”, concludes Marco.

MWC 2026: local technology for secure and sovereign connectivity

At the 2026 Mobile World Congress, held in Barcelona from March 2 to 5, Saima Systems focused its message on SAIWALL Secure SD-WAN, its secure connectivity solution for distributed environments, which was showcased at the ACCIÓ booth, organized by the Government of Catalonia.

At the product level, SAIWALL Secure SD-WAN brings this concept of digital sovereignty to life in day-to-day operations. It is a local solution that enables resilient management and total governance of the environment, giving both the partner and the end customer control over the orchestrator and how the network is operated”, notes Ignacio Marco. “The centralized operational interface puts the orchestration of the entire infrastructure in the hands of the customer or integrator, avoiding dependencies on operators or closed models in which only the manufacturer can enable certain accesses.

For organizations with a presence in multiple countries, this architecture translates into reliable and flexible connectivity capable of accommodating growth and carrier changes without compromising visibility or security, and with the ability to determine where traffic flows and how the network is managed.

Participating in MWC 2026 allows Saima Systems to share its know-how, showcase the true potential of its solutions, and demonstrate how the combination of connectivity and cybersecurity can become a driver of global growth for organizations. Beyond visibility, the event in Barcelona is also a space to foster new conversations, partnerships, and opportunities that will shape the future of the sector, consolidating the role of local technology in the fields of networking and security.

ASLAN 2026: integrating SIEM and SAIWALL for better security governance

At the ASLAN Congress & EXPO, held in Madrid on March 17, 18, and 19, and marked by discussions on agentless AI, cyber resilience, and digital sovereignty, Saima Systems unveiled the SAIWALL SIEM Connector. This solution is a key component in helping organizations manage their security without losing control of their infrastructure. This service facilitates the integration of information generated by SAIWALL Secure SD-WAN networks with existing SIEM platforms, allowing security events, logs, and policies to be centralized and analyzed within the corporate dashboard.

At ASLAN, we presented the solution we call SAIWALL SIEM Connector. It is a service we offer to partners so they can implement SAIWALL Secure SD-WAN solutions for end customers and integrate them with the security that the end customer or the partner itself may already have”, explains Marco. “It is becoming increasingly important to offer services that integrate via Plug&Play with what the customer already has, such as a SIEM or a SOC. We have achieved this in a simple yet very powerful way.

The Saima Systems connector allows the end customer to retain their own security tools and processes, incorporating the SD-WAN network as an additional source of intelligence without ceding control to a single manufacturer or service provider.
